The melancholic dog Rick, has given up on love. He, his adoptive sister Alex, and their friends live in the southern town of Salvation. Rick finds himself lonely while Alex is away at college, but a chance encounter with his new neighbor Tony, a bombastic Christian panther with a penchant for mischief, leads to a fast friendship that stirs Rick’s heart anew.
